GoDaddy Provider Guide
GoDaddy is the default registrar provider for the Domain Reseller module. Connect it first under Settings and Configuration before following this guide.
Landlord Options
Note
Landlord Admin → Domain Reseller → Domain Dashboard
Landlords can check domain availability from the dashboard but cannot purchase as a landlord — purchases happen from tenant or user accounts.
From the landlord panel you can:
- Click All Domains to see the list of all tenants who purchased domains.
- Open the Domain List, then click Failed Purchases to review unsuccessful purchases.
- Use Complete Purchase or renewal actions from the failed purchase list. See Domain Renewal and Failed Purchases.
The Domain List shows every purchased domain with the domain name, registrant, status (Active / Inactive), expiry date, and actions (Manage, Renew, Activate).
Tenant Purchase Flow
Note
Tenant Admin → Domain Reseller → Domain Dashboard
- Search your desired domain for availability.
- If the domain is available, select it to continue the purchase.
- Fill in the registrant form (name, email, phone, address, country, WHOIS privacy toggle), select the registration period (1–10 years depending on provider) and payment gateway, then proceed to checkout.
- After successful checkout you land on the confirmation page. Click Activate to connect the purchased domain to your tenant site or shop as a custom domain.
- You can also reopen the Domain Dashboard and use the purchase history button to activate or renew your domains.
- Domains still being processed appear under Pending Purchases on the Domain List page.
Managing a Purchased Domain
Note
Landlord Admin → Domain Reseller → Domain List → Manage
- Click Activate to map the domain to a custom domain record in the platform, making it available for tenant shop assignment.
- After activating, click Manage → Shop to assign the domain to a specific tenant or shop.
- Use Manage → DNS Records, Manage → WHOIS, and Manage → SSL for ongoing maintenance:
