Ad Tracking

Ad Tracking reports your SaaS funnel conversions to Meta and Google Ads from the server, so ad blockers and browser restrictions cannot drop them. It is an admin tool that tracks your own platform's funnel, not a customer's site.

Open it from Ad Tracking in the admin sidebar. The page has three tabs: Settings, Event log and Instructions.

What gets sent

  • A trial start sends the StartTrial event.
  • A paid checkout sends the Purchase event, with value and currency.

Cancellations and failed renewals intentionally send nothing, so you optimise your ads on money rather than churn.

Note

Per-client site tracking lives in each customer's own Ad Tracking page. This page tracks your platform's own funnel.

Send conversions to Google AdsTurns Google sending on or off.

Click Save after filling in details. For the password fields, leave them blank on later visits to keep the stored value.

Send a test

Click Send test Purchase on the Settings tab:

  • With a test event code set, the event arrives in Meta Test events within seconds, with the matched parameters listed.
  • To go live, remove the test event code and save.

Event log

The Event log tab records every send, skip and failure, with the platform, the event, the status and a short reason underneath. This is the fastest way to see why a conversion did not reach Meta or Google.

Note

Google attributes conversions by click ID (gclid), which this app does not capture yet. Uploads are accepted and logged, but attribution improves only once gclid is stored at checkout.
