The SMS Gateway plugin supports 25+ providers with region-specific drivers. Only one provider can be active at a time — activating a new one automatically deactivates the previous one.

WhatsApp
A dedicated WhatsApp driver is available for sending messages via the WhatsApp Business API instead of traditional SMS. WhatsApp providers require pre-approved templates — see Special Provider Notes.
Choosing a Provider
- Pick the provider with the best rates and delivery for your customers' region.
- Credentials differ per provider (API keys, Account SID + Auth Token, Sender ID, template IDs). See Admin Configuration.
- Msg91 (India) requires DLT-registered templates — use Get Templates. See Special Provider Notes.
- Always send a test SMS before enabling live notifications.
