Message Templates
Tenant Admin → SMS Gateway → Settings → SMS Options → Templates
Landlord Admin → SMS Gateway → Settings → SMS Options → Templates
Each notification trigger has its own message template that you can customize. Click a template field, edit the text, use @variables to make messages dynamic, and save.
Available Templates

OTP Login Message | Sent when a user requests OTP login |
New User - Customer Message | Sent to customer when they register |
New User - Admin Message | Sent to admin when a new user registers |
New Order - Customer Message | Sent to customer when an order is placed |
New Order - Admin Message | Sent to admin when a new order comes in |
New Tenant - Tenant Message | Sent to new tenant on signup (landlord only) |
New Tenant - Admin Message | Sent to landlord admin on new tenant signup |
Examples
OTP template:
Your @site_title login OTP is: @otp_code. Valid for 5 minutes. Do not share this code.
New order template:
Hi @user_name, your order #@order_id has been placed at @site_title. Thank you for shopping!
New user admin template:
New user registered on @site_title: @user_name. Please review the account.
New tenant template:
Welcome @user_name! Your store on @site_title is ready. Log in to start setting up your shop.
Template Variables Reference

Variables are case-sensitive. Type them exactly as shown — @otp_code, not @OTP_Code or {otp_code}. Wrong casing or brace syntax leaves the placeholder unreplaced in the sent SMS.
Msg91 and WhatsApp Note
Msg91 and WhatsApp Business providers require pre-approved message templates registered with telecom authorities (the DLT system in India). You cannot send custom text outside these approved templates — click Get Templates in Settings to fetch your approved list, then map each trigger to a template. Details in Special Provider Notes.
