Creating a Product — 7-Step Wizard
Tenant Admin → Product → Add New Product
Products are created through a 7-step guided wizard. Each step focuses on one aspect of the product. You can navigate between steps freely — progress is saved as you move forward.
Step 1 — Basic Info

| Summary | No | Short description, max 500 characters, shown in product cards |

| Brand | No | Select from your configured brands |
Slug rules:
- Auto-generated from the product name when you type it.
- Only letters, numbers, and hyphens are allowed.
- Must be unique across your store — the system warns you if it is taken.
- Example:
blue-cotton-t-shirt
Step 2 — Pricing

| Tax Class | Yes, if taxable | Select a tax class configured in Tax Settings |
Price display logic:
- Only Sale Price set → shown as the regular price.
- Both Regular and Sale Price set → regular price crossed out, sale price highlighted.
Step 3 — Inventory (Simple Products)
For products without variants:

Step 4 — Media

| Image Gallery | No | Additional photos, unlimited — shown as a slider on the product page |
Tips:
- Use consistent dimensions across all products for a polished look.
- Drag to reorder gallery images.
- For variant products, individual variant images are set in Step 3.
Step 5 — Categories and Delivery
Categories
A 3-level hierarchy:
- Main Category (required) — for example "Clothing"
- Sub Category (optional) — for example "Men's Clothing"
- Child Categories (optional, multi-select) — for example "T-Shirts", "Polo Shirts"
Select the main category first — the sub-category dropdown loads automatically, then the child list.

Delivery Options
Multi-select which delivery methods apply to the product: Standard Delivery, Express Delivery, Free Shipping, Local Pickup, plus any custom options you have configured.

Step 6 — Purchase Settings and Policy
Purchase constraints

| Minimum Purchase Quantity | Customer must buy at least this many — useful for wholesale |
| Maximum Purchase Quantity | Customer cannot buy more per order — useful for limited items |
| Inventory Warning | Enable to receive stock alerts when stock falls below the reorder point |
| Is Refundable | Marks the product eligible for returns — linked to the Refund module |
Shipping and return policy
A rich-text editor for this product's specific policy, shown on the product page. Examples: "Ships within 2–3 business days", "Free returns within 30 days", "No returns on digital products".
Step 7 — Tags, Badge and SEO
Tags
Enter comma-separated tags to improve internal search and filtering — for example cotton, summer, casual, men, t-shirt.
Badge
Assign one visual badge: New, Hot, Sale, or any custom badge created in Badge settings.
