Overview
The Review Moderation system allows administrators to control which reviews are visible on the platform.
What Is Review Moderation?
Review moderation gives administrators control over:
- Auto-approve — Automatically approve new reviews
- Manual approval — Review each before publishing
- Rejection — Hide inappropriate reviews
- Bulk actions — Process multiple reviews at once
Review Status
| Status | Meaning | Frontend Visibility |

Default Behavior
- Auto-approve enabled: New reviews are immediately visible (status=1)
- Auto-approve disabled: New reviews are hidden until approved (status=0)
When Reviews Are Created
Reviews can be created:
- After an order is completed
- By clients for freelancers
- By freelancers for clients
Moderation Workflow
Auto-Approve Enabled
- User submits review
- Review is immediately approved (status=1)
- Review appears on profiles and gig pages
- Admin can later reject if needed
Auto-Approve Disabled
- User submits review
- Review is pending (status=0)
- Review is hidden from public
- Admin reviews and approves/rejects
- Approved reviews become visible

Configuration
Access review settings via Admin > Reviews > Settings
- Toggle auto-approve on/off
- Default: Auto-approve enabled
