Domain Renewal and Failed Purchases
Renew a Domain
Renew a domain before it expires to avoid losing it.
Landlord Admin → Domain Reseller → Domain List → find domain → Renew
The renewal checkout:
- Shows the domain name and renewal pricing.
- Select the renewal period (1–10 years depending on provider).
- Complete payment.
- The registrar extends the expiry date.
- The Domain List shows the updated expiry.
Renew at least 30 days before expiry to avoid any grace period complications.
Failed Purchases
If a payment was completed but domain registration failed (registrar error, domain taken at checkout time, or similar):
Landlord Admin → Domain Reseller → Failed Purchases
This list shows all failed purchase attempts with the domain name, registrant, payment status, and error details.
Retry a Failed Purchase
Click Complete Purchase on any failed record to retry the domain registration without re-charging the customer. This is useful when the failure was a temporary API error. If the domain now shows as taken, it may have been registered by someone else between search and checkout.
Duplicate-Payment Guard
The system prevents double-submission within 1 minute at checkout. If you see a duplicate-payment error, wait a moment and try again, or check Failed Purchases to see if the order was already created before paying twice.
