Setup
- Create an account with an SMS provider.
- Get your API key, sender ID, and endpoint from the provider.
- Go to Admin → SMS Gateway → Settings.
- Choose your provider.
- Enter the credentials.
- Send a test SMS to your own number.
- Enable phone verification when you are ready.
Message templates
The Templates page lets you customize the text of the messages users receive, such as the OTP message. Use the placeholders shown so codes are inserted correctly.
Good to know
- Messages are paid per message; rate-limit resends to control cost.
- Some countries block short codes — test delivery before going live.
- WhatsApp messages require a template approved by Meta.
