Redirects

A redirect sends a visitor (and a search engine) from an old link to a new one. Use them when you change a page's address or remove a page.

  • Add a redirect from the old link to the new one.
  • Import many redirects at once from a spreadsheet.
  • Export your current list.

Redirects run before a "page not found" error is shown, so old bookmarks still work.

404 monitor

Every "page not found" error is recorded. From the monitor you can:

  • See the missing link and where the visitor came from.
  • Turn a 404 into a redirect.
  • Ignore 404s you do not care about.
  • Clear out old entries.

Sitemaps

A sitemap is a list of your pages that helps search engines discover them.

  • Choose which page types to include.
  • Generate the sitemap with one click.
  • Submit it to Google.
  • Notify search engines of changes automatically.

robots.txt

This file tells search engines which pages they may and may not visit. You can edit it directly or reset it to the recommended default.

Integrations

  • Google Search Console — connect your account to submit sitemaps and see how Google views your site.
  • PageSpeed Insights — check how fast a page loads and get suggestions.
