Setup

1. Create a CoinPayments merchant account.
2. Get your merchant ID and IPN secret from CoinPayments.
3. Activate the CoinPayment plugin.
4. Go to Admin → Payment Gateway Settings → CoinPayments.
5. Turn the gateway on.
6. Enter the merchant ID and IPN secret.
7. Set the confirmation URL in your CoinPayments account.
8. Save, then enable the gateway at checkout.
9. Test with a small amount.

Test mode

CoinPayments offers a test (sandbox) mode. Use it while you set up, then switch to live when you are ready to accept real payments.

Good to know

• Keep your IPN secret private.
• Confirm your coin settings (how exchange-rate changes are handled) in your CoinPayments account.
