The Affiliate Marketing plugin enables a referral program where users can earn commissions by referring new users to the platform.
What Is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a performance-based marketing strategy where:
- Affiliates share their unique referral link
- New users sign up using that link
- Affiliates earn commissions when referred users take qualifying actions
Key Features
- Unique referral codes — Each affiliate gets a unique code (e.g.,
AFF-O8K-3A9X2F) - Cookie-based tracking — 30-day attribution window (configurable)
- Multiple conversion types — Earn from signups, logins, and paid orders
- Admin approval workflow — All conversions require admin approval before payout
- Wallet integration — Approved commissions are credited to affiliate wallet
- Real-time dashboard — Affiliates can track their performance
Conversion Types

Attribution Modes
First Touch (Default)
- Cookie is only set if no valid existing cookie exists
- First affiliate to refer a user gets credit
- Prevents cookie overwriting by later affiliates
Last Touch
- Cookie is overwritten on every qualifying visit
- Most recent affiliate gets credit
- Useful for campaigns with multiple touchpoints
Requirements
- Xilancer v4.2.0 or higher
- Plugin Framework v1.0+
- PHP 8.3+
Installation
- Upload the plugin via Admin > Plugin Manage > Upload Plugin
- Activate the plugin
- Configure settings in Admin > Affiliate Marketing > Settings
- Start promoting your referral program
