Bulk Meta Editor and SEO Health
SEO Manager scores your site's SEO health from 0 to 100 and lists exactly what to fix. The Bulk Meta Fixes panel then lets you fix the most common problem — missing meta titles and descriptions — without opening every page.
Running an audit
Open SEO Manager and find the SEO Health panel. Click Run audit now.
The audit finishes in a moment and shows:
- A score from 0 to 100.
- A list of issues, each tagged with a type (
global, meta) and the affected record. - The time it was last checked.
The audit is synchronous and capped (2,000 records per site), so it stays quick even on a large site.
Auditing every tenant at once
From the server, run the audit across the platform:
# Audit the central site and store the result
php artisan seo:audit
# Audit the central site and every tenant site
php artisan seo:audit --all-tenants
Each site's result is stored where that site's SEO Manager page reads it. Tenants that fail are logged and skipped so one bad site does not stop the batch.
How the score is calculated
The audit starts at 100 and subtracts points:
| Issue | Points |
|---|---|
| Default meta title is empty | −15 |
| Default meta title outside 15–60 characters | −5 |
| Default meta description is empty | −10 |
| Default meta description outside 30–160 characters | −5 |
| A content item is missing a meta title | −2 each, up to −20 |
| A content item is missing a meta description | −2 each, up to −20 |
| A content item has neither a featured nor an OG image | −1 each, up to −10 |
| Duplicate meta titles found | −3 per group, up to −15 |
| No robots.txt content saved | −5 |
| No sitemap generated yet | −5 |
The final score is clamped between 0 and 100. The report keeps the full counts but only shows the first 50 issues, so the list stays readable.
Fixing "global" issues
- Title / description too short or too long — edit your site title and description in General Settings (the audit reads the default-language meta title and description). Aim for a 15–60 character title and a 30–160 character description.
- No robots.txt — save content on the Robots.txt panel.
- No sitemap — generate one, also on the sitemaps page.
Fixing meta issues
Missing titles, missing descriptions and duplicate titles come from your content's MetaInfo records (pages, blogs, products, and so on). Fix them one by one from Bulk Meta Fixes, or from each item's own edit screen.
The Bulk Meta Fixes panel
Open SEO Manager and scroll to Bulk Meta Fixes. It lists content records whose default-language title or description is empty, up to 100 at a time.
For each record:
- The reference line shows the type and id, for example
Blog #42. - Fill in the Meta title and Meta description fields.
- Click Save on that row. It saves immediately.
When there is nothing missing, the panel shows "No missing titles or descriptions."
Saving from this panel only changes the default language value. Translations in other languages are left untouched, so you never overwrite a translated title by mistake.
What good meta data looks like
| Field | Recommended | Hard limit in the editor |
|---|---|---|
| Meta title | 15–60 characters, unique across the site | 60 |
| Meta description | 30–160 characters, one clear sentence | 160 |
The audit flags titles shared by more than one record as duplicates — make each title unique.
A repeatable routine
- Run audit now after any content push.
- Fix the global items first; they are worth the most points.
- Clear Bulk Meta Fixes.
- Re-run the audit and confirm the score went up.
- Schedule a periodic
php artisan seo:audit --all-tenantson the server if you manage many tenants.
