Configuration

Configure email marketing providers in the admin panel.

Accessing Settings

Navigate to Admin > Email Marketing

Settings Page Overview

The settings page displays a card for each provider with:

  • Provider icon and name
  • Configured badge — Green tag when all required fields are filled
  • Enable/disable toggle — Checkbox to activate/deactivate
  • Test button — AJAX connection test
  • Credential fields — Input fields for API keys and list IDs

Configuration Steps

Step 1: Enable a Provider

  1. Check the Enable checkbox for the provider
  2. The card will expand to show configuration fields

Step 2: Enter Credentials

Fill in the required fields for your provider:

Step 3: Test Connection

  1. Click the Test button
  2. A test subscription is sent to test@example.com
  3. Success or error message appears via popup

Step 4: Save Settings

  1. Click Save to store your configuration
  2. Settings are saved to the database
  3. Provider is now active and will sync contacts

Environment Variables

You can also configure providers via .env file:

# Mailchimp
MAILCHIMP_API_KEY=your-api-key
MAILCHIMP_LIST_ID=your-list-id

# SendGrid
SENDGRID_API_KEY=your-api-key
SENDGRID_LIST_ID=your-list-id

# Brevo
BREVO_API_KEY=your-api-key

Multiple Providers

You can enable multiple providers simultaneously. When a user registers or an order is paid, contacts are synced to all enabled providers.

Disabling a Provider

  1. Uncheck the Enable checkbox
  2. Click Save
  3. Contacts will no longer sync to this provider

Troubleshooting

Provider Not Configured

  • Ensure all required fields are filled
  • Check that API key is valid
  • Verify list/group/form ID exists in provider

Connection Test Fails

  • Verify API key permissions
  • Check API endpoint URL (for ActiveCampaign)
  • Ensure provider account is active

Contacts Not Syncing

  • Verify provider is enabled
  • Check Laravel logs for errors
  • Ensure outbound-https capability is declared
