Translating Content
Language Tabs
When Multi-Lingual is enabled, opening any translatable item for editing shows language tabs above each translatable field — for example English, Arabic, French.
- The default language tab shows the original field — editing here changes the stored value.
- Other tabs are translation slots — they never affect the original content.
Auto-Translate a Field
- Click a non-default language tab, for example Arabic.
- The field shows any existing translation or is empty.
- Click the Auto Translate button next to the field.
- The AI reads the default language content and fills in the translation.
- Review the result — edit if needed.
- Save the form as normal.
The Auto Translate button sends only that field's text to the AI. Your API key is billed per translation request.
Manual Translation
Type directly in the field under any language tab instead of using Auto Translate. Useful when you know the translation, need to correct AI output, or the AI handles a language less accurately.
Rich Text Descriptions
For rich-text description fields using the WYSIWYG editor: click the language tab, use Auto Translate — it preserves all HTML formatting such as bold, lists, and tables. The translated HTML is stored with the original structure maintained.
If formatting breaks, it is usually a model issue — GPT-4o handles HTML best. You can always fix formatting manually in the language tab's rich text editor.
Saving Translations
Translations save when you click Save or Update on the form. All language tabs save in a single submit — no per-language saving needed.
