Approve AI Translations

Review Pending Translations

  1. Go to Translations > Pending
  2. See all translations awaiting approval
  3. Check quality score and confidence
  4. Preview both source and translated text

Approve Translation

  1. Review the AI translation
  2. If acceptable, click Approve
  3. Translation becomes active
  4. Publish to live site if ready

Reject Translation

  1. If translation needs improvement
  2. Click Reject or Request Changes
  3. Add comments explaining issue
  4. AI will regenerate or wait for manual edit

Bulk Operations

  • Approve Multiple — Select and approve many at once
  • Reject Batch — Reject multiple translations
  • Filter by Language — Show only specific language
  • Filter by Quality — Show only high/low quality translations

Manual Translation Override

Edit Translation

  1. Select translated content
  2. Click Edit Translation
  3. Modify the translation text directly
  4. Save changes
  5. Manual translation takes priority over AI

When to Override

  • AI translation is contextually incorrect
  • Domain-specific terminology needed
  • Brand voice needs adjustment
  • Cultural adaptation required

Version Control

  • View History — See all translation versions
  • Rollback — Revert to previous translation
  • Track Changes — See who edited what and when
  • Comments — Add notes about changes

Translation Memory

Access Translation Database

  1. Go to Translations > Memory
  2. View all translated terms
  3. Search for specific phrases
  4. See usage frequency

Add Memory Entries

  1. Go to Translation Memory
  2. Click Add Entry
  3. Enter source phrase (primary language)
  4. Enter translation for each language
  5. Categorize by domain/topic
  6. Save entry

Search Memory

  1. Type phrase in search box
  2. See matching previous translations

Quality Assurance

Translation Quality Scoring

Each translation gets a quality score (0-100%):

  • 90-100% — Excellent, ready to publish
  • 70-89% — Good, minor review recommended
  • 50-69% — Acceptable, consider manual review
  • Below 50% — Poor, manual translation needed

Quality Metrics

  • Terminology Match — Uses consistent terms
  • Grammar Quality — Grammatically correct
  • Context Accuracy — Captures meaning
  • Fluency — Natural-sounding language

Low Quality Troubleshooting

  • Review AI confidence score
  • Check source text clarity
  • Use translation memory suggestions
  • Consider manual translation
  • Check language-specific settings

Status Tracking

Translation Status

View status for all translations:

  • Pending — Awaiting approval
  • Approved — Ready to publish
  • Published — Live on site
  • Rejected — Awaiting rework
  • Archived — Old versions

Workflow Status

  1. In Progress — Being translated
  2. Pending Review — Awaiting approval
  3. Approved — Quality check passed
  4. Published — Live
  5. Updated — New version available

Filtering & Sorting

  • Filter by status
  • Filter by language
  • Sort by quality score
  • Sort by date modified
  • Sort by translator

Bulk Translation Management

Bulk Translate

  1. Select multiple content items
  2. Click Bulk Translate
  3. Select target languages
  4. Start translation process
  5. Monitor progress

Bulk Approve

  1. Go to Translations > Pending
  2. Select multiple translations
  3. Click Bulk Approve
  4. Confirm action
  5. All selected translations approved

Bulk Publish

  1. Select approved translations
  2. Click Publish
  3. Choose publish date (immediate or scheduled)
  4. Confirm
  5. Translations go live

Export & Reporting

Export Translations

  1. Go to Translations > Export
  2. Choose format (CSV, JSON, XML)
  3. Select languages to include
  4. Choose date range (optional)
  5. Download file

Translation Reports

Generate reports on:

  • Translation Progress — % of content translated
  • Quality Metrics — Average quality scores
  • Language Coverage — Which languages complete
  • Translator Activity — Who made which translations
  • Error Log — Translation failures
